setting preferences
In the main menu you'll see a button marked Preferences. Some preferences you may wish to set:
- Under the General and Startup tab remove the checkmark next to Start SUPERAntiSpyware when Windows starts. One less thing to wait for when Windows is starting.
- Under the Scanning Control tab you may want to place a check next to Terminate memory threats before quarantining and Scan alternate data streams. This will kill off any threat that is actively running in memory so it cannot keep itself alive. Scanning alternate data streams helps since malware objects are now making use of these data streams to conceal themselves.
